I just had jaw surgery, but I thought I thought I could give a small update.
I had my lower jaw and upper jaw cut and repositioned to hopefully result in a lot of improvements to my speech and many other things. And even though this pain is fucking powerful, I’m more powerful than the pain, so I wanted to tell you how much fire I have.
I always liked things with wings, it first started off with owls, then with crows, Mothman, and then dragons. I’m not sure exactly why I always was hyper fixated on these things, but I think I might know why.
Their fire.
Their resilience
Owls chasing their pray without mercy. Crows being extremely smart, Mothman being a legend among cultures, and dragons, with their literal fire.
I do feel like I have a spirit of a dragon. I’ve always had this fire in my belly, my bones, that never let me stop, never let me give up. And every time I have a challenge to face, it just adds fuel to the fire. It makes me want to prove myself. I want my fire to be steady and fierce, not stopping at any obstacles way to achieve my fucking goal.
I want to let people know that being disabled is an advantage, not a weakness. I’ve been through too much stuff to just give up. No, I’m better, I’m determined, I’m lit ablaze.
Don’t you have that fire?
Your lesson today is that disabled people are just as strong as you are, just as determined as you are. And if there is a goal, I will reach it, even if it takes hundreds of tries. If I don’t give up, you shouldn’t either. Start today.
I believe in you
A fiery person
